Emotions and Music

As time passes grey clouds appear through my world as the one dearest to me fades from my life. Tears drip down my face. Destiny is a cruel thing.

As I touch the soft sand of the Mexican desert a wave of peace rushes over me. I am gazing into the heart of Mexico.

A river of tears swell from my eyes as I slump to the ground admitting sorrow, defeat and despair!

Sorrow slowly takes over my body as tears gently roll down my race. I am hoping to rewind the past.

I now know my purpose. To be a protector of a hidden land. I was born to protect a land hidden from man. I am this land's hero for I defeated their fear... death!

The premiere of The Hobbit is here! I nudge through the crowd to get a glimpse of the movie stars.

Tears stream down my face as the clouds blacken. I run through the rain. Where is my dog?

As I sit slurping my tropical smoothy I notice a band playing joyfully underneath the coconut trees.

I wept tears of triumph. I couldn't believe it! The battle was won. By whom? Us!

How to make a sequin wristband By Harriet and Savanah

Yesterday the Pukeko's and Paua's read a story about making a wristband. After reading the story we made our own sequin wristband.

What you will need:
 A piece of fabric,
 A hot glue gun,
 Some scissors and
Some sequins

Get some body to help you
measure the fabric.
Add about 1cm - 2cm
so you can glue it together.
Then cut the fabric out.
Lay the sequins out in the order you want them,
then hot glue them on.
Hot glue the ends together to get your end result.
Here are some finished products

Viewer Art By Antony

As you know, we read a story called 'The Viewer.' Miss Slater and G4 were soooooooo inspired in Shaun Tans artwork, we decided to make our own Viewer discs. We did it in the same style as Shaun Tan: an eye in he middle, a person (except when there was a square where there was a person). After we were finished doing the blue-pen and colouring, we wrote a description of what was happening in our disc in a spiral. Miss Slater had to admit it was pretty scary seeing 26 eyes staring a you!

Eyes, eyes, everywhere
ARGH! Too creepy!

We are making our own viewer disc. There had to be 20 years in between each stage.
